OpenSourcery Launches Website for SoCal Fire Recovery Effort

Who can you call when there's a natural disaster and you need to deliver help quickly? One Economy Corporation chose OpenSourcery. The result? http://www.SoCalHelp.org. SoCalHelp is for people who have few resources and need immediate help recovering their lives after losing their homes, jobs, and normal day-to-day routines.

In order to meet the immediate needs of residents suffering from the loss of their homes and livelyhoods One Economy Corporation desired to create the Southern California Wildfire Resource Center as a place where wildfire survivors can get immediate assistance and long-term help with rebuilding. The challenge? How to do that quickly. One Economy turned to OpenSourcery. Our technical team was able to turn around a Drupal based CMS system in no time flat. Drupal allows One Economy staff to add and update content on the SoCalHelp.org quickly. Drupal is also multi-lingual right out of the box, 100% of the site content is in Spanish and English.
